THIS STORY IS STILL DEVELOPING AND DETAILS HAVE BEEN UPDATED: Police on Sunday night responded to a reported shooting at Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, Illinois, multiple outlets have reported. Fox 32 out of Chicago has reporters on the scene and reported that 3 to 5 victims have been shot. Reports since that broadcast have limited the number to three. Videos are being shared on social media reportedly from the scene.
So far no injuries are reported as life-threatening. Police issued a shelter in place for the area and were treating the scene as active at the time of the below report from Fox 32, but have since cleared the active shooter threat.
Six Flags corporate has issued a statement that the shots were fired from a vehicle.
