US destroyer USS Carney just shot down three missiles fired at the state of Israel from Iranian Houthis in Yemen.

Pentagon: The guided-missile destroyer USS Carney shot down 3 missiles and several drones fired by Iranian-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen that were heading toward Israel.

It was also reported today that the Pentagon sent another US air carrier to the region. And with good reason apparently.
