Well this is certain wonderful news. I’m so glad the US is being proactive this time because I was worried that we’d have another mass casualty event at the airport.
In related news, Joe Biden this morning went to Dover to receive the bodies of our slaim service members and meet with their families:
President Biden flew to Dover Air Force Base in Delaware on Sunday morning to join the families of the 13 members of the U.S. military who were killed in a bombing last week in Afghanistan.

Note timing of US drone strike: as families were receiving their fallen sons and daughters at Dover. President Biden, Gen Mark Milley, Chairman of Joint Chiefs and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin meeting with those families at Dover AFB now. https://t.co/Lpbytr2s9l

As a side note to this…
Heard from a reliable source some of the families of the service members who were killed in Kabul do not want Biden to be at Dover AFB for the dignified transfers.
