HHS Deputy Secretary Jim O’Neil just told Fox News that Minnesota has not complied yet with the requested receipts in order to unfreeze the childcare payments to the state.
HHS paused the childcare payments in order to ensure there is no fraud, and that’s why they are requesting the receipts.
In the video, Bill Melugin also points out that Gov Walz has received quite a lot of money from Somalis connected to these phony daycares.
It’s possible the state will comply with this soon in order to verify there is no fraud, but given what we know, the delay is obviously because there IS fraud in their system and the state needs to clean it up before providing legitimate receipts to HHS.
So glad HHS is holding them accountable. I hope they do this with all states, Red and Blue.
