The Utah County District Attorney Jeff Gray has just announced the charges for Charlie Kirk’s lunatic assassin and the penalty he will seek, which will be the death penalty.

2. Felony discharge of a firearm causing serious bodily injury
3. Two counts of obstruction of justice
4. Two counts of witness tampering
5. The commission of a violent offense in the presence of a child
According to Gray, the suspect’s DNA was also found on the gun trigger:

According to a criminal complaint, the suspect’s DNA was found on the trigger of the gun used to kill Kirk. The suspect told his roommate to “delete his incriminating text messages.”
