Secretary of State Marco Rubio is in Sweden today for a NATO meeting and spoke to the media about Iran, explaining that he is working on a ‘Plan B’ for the Strait of Hormuz, should no deal be made with Iran.
He explains:
Rubio said, before his NATO meeting, that Iran is actively trying to build a system where they charge tolls to ships crossing the strait. He said this is unacceptable and something must be done about it. Clearly he’s trying to build a NATO force to secure the strait, should no deal be made.
