President Trump has announced today a $12 billion economic aid package for US farmers to give them relief from tariffs, as he promised months ago.
This aid package comes directly from the tariff revenue Trump has generated.

Trump said back in September that the tariffs would likely hurt farmers until they kick in, which is why he’s making this economic package available. But me made clear today that farmers would much rather have a level playing field than an aid package, which is why he’s pushing so hard to level the playing field using tariffs.
