President Trump responded this morning to Iran threatening to close the Strait of Hormuz, telling Fox News reporter Trey Yingst that he may end up taking over the strait and charging tolls, taking 20% of the oil.
He also issued a warning to the president of Iran, telling him to watch his mouth or he may not have a country to go back to.
Yingst reveals this and more, including what Trump told the Iranians last night on the phone:
I really think the ‘toll’ that Trump is referring to is the 20% of the oil coming out of Iran. I don’t think Trump means to actually toll ships moving through the strait, but I could be wrong about that.
