President Trump was asked by a reporter on Air Force One, as he is making his way to a NATO summit, whether he wanted to see regime change in Iran.
Trump said no he doesn’t want to see it, because regime change means chaos and he wants to see everything calm down in the region.

Notice that when Trump began his answer, he said “if there was, there was”. In other words, if it happened he’d be fine with it, but he’s not going to give vocal support to it right now when he’s trying to keep a fragile peace between Israel and Iran. Trump knows that what he says matters and he’s not going to give Iran any reason to violate the ceasefire.
