Former CIA Director John Brennan said this morning that the Trump dossier didn’t play any role in intelligence assessments to Obama or president-elect Trump at the time before the election.

Another important distinction is made – he says that while the dossier wasn’t totally verified, that doesn’t mean elements of it weren’t true. And if part of it was true, then it’s not necessarily malfeasance to order a FISA warrant based on it – as long as it’s done in good faith and in full view of all the facts.
Brennan also took a defensive swipe at the Trump admin after being critiqued:
