Bret Bair asked Krauthammer if the polls are “missing something” since the stock market is so amaaazing, which I’m not even sure is a question that makes any sense.

The thing is both he and Krauthammer just swallow and regurgitate the Trumpism that the polls were wrong. They weren’t. The national polls all had Hillary up by 3%, and she had the national popular vote by about 2%. Trump only won by less than 100,000 votes in three states. That’s not a function of bad polling, that’s a function of bad poll interpretation.
And in any case, I seem to remember people saying that the stock market didn’t matter to regular folks when it was hitting record highs under Obama. I know, I know, we’re not supposed to mention that. Sorry. Let’s all #MAGA all over each other now.
