BRUTAL: Two NYPD traffic safety officers ATTACKED over asking man to move vehicle from in front of hyrdant

Things are going great in New York City, just like in all the other Democrat controlled major American cities. Rampant, violent crime by soulless thugs is the norm, in these Hellscapes that used to be centers of culture and commerce.

The man’s vehicle was blocking a fire hydrant, and when the officers busted him, he went “from 0 to 60 in just seconds” as the New York Post put it. The two safety officers, Adams Mandiata and partner Edwyn Stuart, were interviewed, and both suffered some injuries.

“I was backing up, backing up. He just punched my left eye so hard,” Mandiata said. “I feel down. I couldn’t see anything.”

Mandiata said his eye is still red and swollen.

“It’s hard to even open my eye,” he said.

The video is brutal.

The Blaze adds:

“This happens to traffic agents on the regular,” the other officer, Edwyn Stuart, who is an 11-year veteran, said. “Our job is a dangerous job.”

Both agents said that New York’s bail reform law that went into effect this year has emboldened criminals.

The driver is described as black, about 6-feet tall and weighing 200 pounds. He was seen wearing a white T-shirt, black and white sweat pants, and black and white sneakers in the video.

“Assault on traffic agents is very common, but now it’s a daily occurrence,” Olufemi told the New York Post. “The situation is getting worse daily since the city council handicapped the cops with the stupid laws (that) favor the criminals. Who can we go to for help? Police officers? They’re seeking … help too, nobody is listening to them.”

Buy yeah let’s defund the police, right Democrats?

“You never know what is going to happen again,” said Mandiata, who is thinking of leaving the job. “You might lose your life.”

Democrat policies are anti-police and anti-public safety. Yet another reason that the President’s law and order message sells. Because it’s TRUE.
