Buttigieg grilled for not going to East Palestine sooner

Biden’s Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg traveled to East Palestine today and was grilled for not coming there sooner.

Buttigieg’s response was to continue making excuses for his absence by hiding behind the NTSB’s investigation of the crash.

It’s absolutely a bunch of malarkey for Buttigieg to claim he didn’t come to East Palestine earlier because of the NTSB investigation. Unless he went there and began ordering them around, they would have conducted their investigation like they do all of their investigations and it would have been fine.

Buttigieg didn’t go because he didn’t care. He’s only there now because it’s become a huge freaking deal and he’s being called out for ignoring it. But even in the face of this reality, he still claims he’s not there for the politics:

Bullcrap. We all know why he’s there and it’s not for the ‘work’.
