Cadets make “OK” hand symbol at the Army Navy football game and twitter MELTS DOWN

Well people are flipping out because some cadets made the “OK” hand symbol that alt-right morons have taken up to troll the left, and also some white supremacists use to join in.

A little while ago a Coast Guard member made the hand gesture during a live shot on MSNBC about a hurricane, and they hurry-canned him for it. That might have been accidental, this definitely seems like they did it intentionally:

Spokespersons from the U.S. Military Academy and the U.S. Naval Academy told USA TODAY Sports they have been made aware of the issue – which blossomed on social media as the game wore on – and the schools are looking into it.

A spokesperson for West Point said the academy was investigating and did “not know the Cadets’ intent.”

Maybe they were just screwing around. But, if you’re gonna do something like that, you better accept the consequences of your actions. No one can plead ignorance about what they’re asking for at this point.
