Now that Trump is out of office, the fascist governor of California is lifting his stay-at-home order and finally allowing outdoor dining:
DAILY CALLER – Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom revoked the state’s stay-at-home order and outdoor dining ban, which have both been in effect since December.
The state’s December stay-at-home order had been entirely lifted, the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) said in a press release Monday. The CDPH also announced that services such as outdoor dining “may resume immediately.”
“Californians heard the urgent message to stay home as much as possible and accepted that challenge to slow the surge and save lives,” Dr. Tomás Aragón, CDPH director and state public health officer, said in a statement. “Together, we changed our activities knowing our short-term sacrifices would lead to longer-term gains.”
California is on a downward trajectory when it comes to new cases since January 14th, but the number of deaths is still trending high.
But call me cynical, it just seems convenient to me that since Biden is now president, Newsom begins taking his boot off the necks of Californians. Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad it’s finally happening, but it just feels political.
