CANCEL BACK: After Mayor Lightfoot cancels White reporters, one Hispanic reporter cancels HER in return!

Last night Scoop told you about how Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot has announced she won’t be talking to whitey reporters, and will only speak to “black and brown” members of the media.

Obviously, this is racist. And obviously, a public official cancelling a whole segment of reporters for any dumb excuse is scandalous, because it’s just a way to avoid accountability. She’s deliberately limiting her interactions with media, and she’s had many scandals which the press would theoretically want to ask her about.

Well one reporter isn’t standing for it. As a member of the “black and brown” demographic Lightfoot says she’s willing to work with, he said he’s not willing to work with HER.

“I am a Latino reporter [with the Chicago Tribue] whose interview request was granted for today,” he wrote. “However, I asked the mayor’s office to lift its condition on others and when they said no, we respectfully canceled.”

“Politicians don’t get to choose who covers them,” he wrote.

EXACTLY. RIGHT.

An anchor with WGN in Chicago supported Pratt’s stand.

Even a Washington Post reporter chimed in, in support of Pratt. Now THAT one surprised me.

Has Lightfoot taken the new racism too far? Or will the “anti-racism” antifa/blm-supporting, critical race theory mobs turn it around and label everyone who criticizes her as racist?

We’ll see. Could go either way, frankly.
