CBS News is reporting this morning the feds have a smoking gun to prove Trump knowingly took classified documents from the White House without declassifying them.
They claim the feds have audio of Trump admitting this very thing two years ago:

In the reporting, CBS refers to CNN as the one who broke the story yesterday:

But check out this tweet from Steven Krakauer after having read the story:
“CNN has not listened to the recording, but multiple sources described it.”

Exactly. Neither CNN nor CBS News have heard this recording so they don’t really know what Trump said on the recording.
Seriously, how many times have the media reported smoking guns in the past only for them to fizzle into nothing when the actual evidence comes to fruition? It’s like they never learn.
