If you get COVID, you no longer need to quarantine for 10 long days because the CDC has just changed the guidance:
BREAKING: U.S. health officials are cutting isolation restrictions for those who test positive for the coronavirus and shortening the time that close contacts have to quarantine. People with the virus can leave isolation after five days, down from 10 days. https://t.co/cciaX1DdWT

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention officials say the guidance is in keeping with growing evidence that people with the coronavirus are most infectious in the two days before and three days after symptoms develop. https://t.co/paodwlsb20

It’s taken them this long to figure out that people who have symptoms are mainly infectious two days before and three days after? We’ve had so many people with COVID all around the world for the last two years. You’d think that they’d have figured this out long ago.
Whatever. I guess it’s good they finally came to this point, and just in time for the playoffs. Because right now football players are getting COVID like crazy.
