Kavasutra Kava Bar, which makes a drink from Kava root whatever that means, has been on Instagram again telling people to basically shove their emotions in their mask holes.
The chain establishment, which has locations in Florida, Arizona, New York and Colorado, does not seem to fear backlash for their Instagram campaign mocking every sacred cow in the book, including the most preciously guarded of the last year, mask-wearers.
First, they took the shot, with a post that said “Effective immediately: Any and all grade school teachers who, by choice, have opted not to return to in-person teaching are hereby banned from any and all Kavasutra locations. Furthermore, masks may not be worn in Arizona or Florida locations. New York and Colorado are a bunch of p**** leftists so they can cover their mouths with a dirty cloth.”
But that word wasn’t bleeped.
After people got mad, the chain cafe responded.
“It has come to our attention that we may have upset some people with our last post. We’ve been reading your comments and we understand how we may have effected (sic) some of you, so we want to be very clear: masks are for leftist losers. Teachers unions are trash. Women are born with ovaries. And we are doing slams at midnight tonight.”
I still don’t know what kava is but daaang.
And The Blaze points out this ain’t the first time for Kavasutra.
A previous Instagram post announced a “Cholo Party” costume contest for “Cultural Appropriation Friday” at one of their Florida locations.
And:
In 2018 they were accused of being transphobic and sexist when they advertised an event for “genetic females,” adding, “If you are a chick per your DNA, well m’lady, it’s slam time.”
I know some of y’all don’t want to hear it, but I wear my mask everywhere. I don’t ask anyone else to. I don’t even care if they do. The mask holy rollers are obnoxious, controlling, petty dictator jerks. And besides, there’s nothing worse than a sacred cow. And nothing better than someone out there slaying sacred cows. That’s what makes America great.
Well that and steak and muscle cars and AR-15s. And, I guess, Kava?
