A great video from Meet the Press yesterday where Chuck Todd and the Panel agree that Ted Cruz has positioned himself better than anyone else with a great organization and as an articulate voice that can tap into the so-called ‘outsiders’:
Chuck Todd believes that Ted Cruz’s moment is coming and that would be fantastic.
I do believe for this to happen that Cruz needs to come across less polished in the next Republican debate, but otherwise I think he’s the perfect candidate to lead the nation and hopefully to rise to the top. He is an outsider, no matter how Eugene Robinson tries to spin it. If that isn’t clear to him from Cruz’s time in the Senate, then Robinson is just blind and fooling himself.
I just hope, as people get tired of Trump and realize he isn’t as well versed on the issues as Ted Cruz, that Cruz will rise to the top and be the ‘outsider’ candidate. With Trump’s high poll numbers, though, it’s hard to see his support waning anytime soon. But time will tell if Cruz is right about Trump not being the nominee.
