Here’s a bizarre story out of California yesterday.
A 31-year-old woman walked into a San Diego church yesterday during Easter services, waved a gun around and threatened to blow up the church – all while she was holding a baby.
Needless to say the congregation reacted quickly, taking both the baby and the gun from the woman before tackling her to the ground.
Turns out the gun wasn’t loaded and there was no bomb:

The pastor of the church said they knew who she was, that she had been going to the church off and on for some time.
The woman, who is said to have been in the Navy, actually had two kids and they’ve both been taken into protective custody.
I’m telling ya, she’s lucky to be alive. Someone there could have easily had a gun (with only 10 rounds of course – it’s California) and shot her in defense of the church. And it would have been legit.
