The city of Orlando, Florida sent out an official statement on Friday to their mailing list, advertising the upcoming Monday night fireworks display for the Fourth of July. In that email, they trashed America but said come celebrate anyway because at least fireworks, unlike America, are still cool.
On Saturday they sent out another email saying that they regret some wankers failed to appreciate their amazing words, but they really do like Independence Day because of veterans or whatever. (That’s a very close paraphrase, as you’ll see below.)
The media have treated that second email as if it’s an apology and now all is forgiven, as if the media had any problem with it in the first place.
Oh and by the way the MSM are barely covering it anyway so what’s the problem?

A lot of people probably don’t want to celebrate our nation right now, and we can’t blame them. When there is so much division, hate and unrest, why on earth would you want to have a party celebrating any of it?
But in all seriousness, you know in your heart, Fourth of July fireworks are amazing, especially when you are standing in 90° heat, 100% humidity, next to 100,000 of your closest friends. In that moment, something takes over and we all become united in an inexplicable bond. Yes, America is in strife right now, but you know what…we already bought the fireworks. 🤷♀️

The City of Orlando sincerely regrets the negative impact our words have had on some in our community. We understand these words offended some of our residents, which was not our intent. We value the freedoms we have in this country and are thankful to the men and women who have fought and continue to fight for those. We take pride in celebrating the 4th of July to express our gratitude to those men and women and honor the country we live in.
That’s not an apology at all. That’s them saying they regret that other people wrongly got offended, and then they don’t take ANYTHING back about what they said. Like literally not a word.
HOW IS THAT AN APOLOGY MSM??
Ridiculous. If you take your family to see these fireworks you’re endorsing the city’s message. You’re endorsing the Democrats in charge using the city resources to bash the USA on Independence Day.
If you go to these fireworks you’re as bad as them.
