This is ridiculous. Claire McCaskill is now calling for Project Veritas to be investigated for exposing her campaign:
JUST IN: Sen. Claire McCaskill (@clairecmc) campaign manager David Kirby has asked Missouri AG Josh Hawley (@AGJoshHawley) to recuse himself, appoint special prosecutor to investigate Project Veritas. #MoSen pic.twitter.com/g3JAB5GPYD

Dana Loesch makes a great point about this…
McCaskill is just like Kamala Harris, using her power to investigate journalists. Not a fan of the right to bear arms or of a free press.
She’s right. Kamala Harris went after investigative journalist David Daleiden for exposing Planned Parenthood selling aborted baby parts and now Claire McCaskill wants to do the same to James O’Keefe for exposing her.
And this ‘investigation’ she’s calling for is only to ‘punish’ O’Keefe, as she must already know that Missouri is a one-party-consent state when it comes to wiretapping or recording.
“If you operate in Missouri, you may record a conversation or phone call if you are a party to the conversation…”
To his credit, Josh Hawley smacked this down on Twitter:
Let’s review last 24 hrs. 1) @clairecmc & staff caught on tape telling the truth 2) McCaskill accuses ME of fraud 3) McCaskill demands Missouri give her special prosecutor to investigate her truth telling #MOsen

Senator, accusing people of crimes is a serious thing. If you have evidence of a crime, please come forward with it immediately. Otherwise, please stop politicizing the legal process for your reelection. #MOsen

Awesome. Well said.
