They never can stop falling for dumb things, can they? Even in the age when they themselves are CRYING about the danger of “deepfake” videos, they still fall for it every time. It’s worse than confirmation bias, I don’t even know what to call it.
Here’s the clip that got the ball rolling. It’s being shared here by a bluecheck New York Daily News reporter.
Others are noting this, but it can't be shared enough: Donald Trump gave his big speech today with his pants on backwards. Look close and tell me I'm wrong.pic.twitter.com/sRsoJVfyf8

Yeah but no.
IT’S CLEARLY BEEN BLURRED
But nevertheless actors, reporters, websites, TV hosts, journalists, media writers, bloggers, professors, former actors, columnists, educators, legal affairs editors, Obama campaign vets, fashion designers, epidemiologists, TV writers, pundits, nutcase directors, contributors, has beens, Greenpeace reps, Emmy winners, NYT bestsellers, Rex Chapmans, and trashbags are among those who took it hook and sinker. To name a few.
Idiots. It is fake news. Is it a fake video? AS in, on purpose?
The guy who first posted it is claiming innocence.
I swear this buffoon has his pants on backwards.
Where is the zipper? pic.twitter.com/GGUSpVQwtL— AC Junior 😷 (@CamJunior1972) June 6, 2021
It came directly from my phone, aired on Newsmax, no edits. I don't have After Effects or video editing software on my phone.
(for the record this 3rd rate Newsmax channel had some crappy camera work, didn't even look HD and bad lighting. Didn't help Frumpy. ) pic.twitter.com/lMZW2E4xCA

Pretty obviously looks blurred. You can see the blurring. Your phone did it? Did your dog eat your homework, too?
