Seriously – this is Al Sharpton’s response to Mitt Romney’s boneheaded comments from yesterday?
Wow.
Apparently Sharpton has never heard of Medicaid, food stamps, federal housing vouchers, school lunch programs, the Earned Income Tax Credit, and on and on and on. How many untold billions of taxpayer dollars does our government pour each year into programs like these? Your guess is as good as mine, but to hear Sharpton tell it you’d think the poor in this country are simply left to fend for themselves.
