Fox News and CNN are both saying, after their reads of the Trump transcript, that there was no quid pro quo when Trump suggested the Ukrainian president investigate Biden’s son after Biden got the top prosecutor fired:
Fox News: No "quid pro quo!"
"Some of the earlier reporting may have been something…different."

There was no explicit quid pro quo, according to both Fox News and CNN.
As to the integrity of the transcript, which Democrats are fiendishly questioning, here’s a summary of what Catherine Herridge reported a few minutes ago:
Interesting. Catherine Herridge just said on @FoxNews that Presidents' phone calls with foreign officials take place in Situation Room. Several ppl are there taking notes/transcribing the call, then they compare the notes and come up with memo. There is no recording.

This really is a transcript, despite what Democrats will say about it. And it is official.
