This is an example of the fine commentary CNN is going to get from Sally Kohn on the Islamic terrorist attack in France:
People kill in the name of all religions—incl Islam, Christianity, Judaism. They don’t represent entire community. They are EXTREMISTS.
— Sally Kohn (@sallykohn) January 7, 2015
Christians or Jews killing in name of religion = Extremists But Muslims killing in name of religion = All Muslims??! Come on…
— Sally Kohn (@sallykohn) January 7, 2015
If you believe Islam is only violent and intolerant, you're reinforcing the extremist interpretation terrorists want everyone to buy into

I would be rushing to defend Islam if so many people weren't rushing to implicate 1.6 billion people in the atrocious actions of a few.

Majority of Muslims worldwide support peace, democracy & tolerance. They need our support, not us lumping them in with the terrorists.

Ben Shapiro did a youtube video last year, based on Pew polls done before 2011, that show that at least half of Muslims worldwide believe in strict Sharia Law and that suicide bombings are at least sometimes justified. He came up with a number around 800 million out of around 1.5 billion Muslims.
His point was that the myth of the tiny radical Muslim minority is absolutely false.
I’d love to see a CNN debate between Ben Shapiro and Sally Kohn on this issue. She’d be destroyed.
