Abby Phillips really really tried to “ackshooally” Trump on the ignorance of the statue topplers, and instead she got hit with the dreaded ratio on Twitter:
The president is now claiming that the removal efforts are focused on "abolitionists" and the founding fathers. He doesn't mention the Confederate figures, who are actually the main target of removal campaigns, and whose statues he has also vociferously defended.

Like what are you talking about. You’d have to willfully ignore ALL of the examples of the idiotic rioters toppling statues that have absolutely nothing to do with confederates, and sometimes they even target anti-confederates because they weren’t against slavery enough!! This is so idiotic. She deserves her ratio:
And no you don’t get to go back to “Confederate statues” now. Speaker of NYC City Council wants to remove Jefferson. Boston is removing an Abraham Lincoln statue *donated by freed slaves.* The “it’s just about Confederate statues” ship has sailed, been set on fire, and sank. https://t.co/PNefVCBaBg

Were Lincoln and Grant confederates?
Was Fr Junipero Sierra, who defended indigenous communities in Cali and Mexico, a confederate?
Was Colonel Hans Christian Heg, an immigrant & founder of an anti-slavery militia, a confederate?
Was the Forward statue a confederate monument? https://t.co/3p2xOUR9Cv

Curiously, it's not the pro-Confederates who are tearing down statues of Lincoln, Grant, the Founding Fathers, etc. https://t.co/DwVkmNJEP5

What a doofus. That’s what politics is these days, people exaggerate and lie in order to justify their political agenda.
