CNN: Democrats are very worried about Virginia governor vote in three weeks

CNN is reporting that Democrats had thought Virginia was a solidly blue state but are very worried now as the gubernatorial election looms:

Democrats are so nervous that they are sending in Barack Obama to try and help the flailing Terry McAuliffe who had said some absolutely offensive things in the last week regarding parents and schools.

The main example that’s really got Democrats worried is McAuliffe saying last week that parents shouldn’t have any say in what a school teaches their children:

He also denies that CRT even exists and therefore won’t address it.

The latest average of polls shows McAuliffe with a 3 point lead but as CNN pointed out above, Glenn Youngkin is really starting to catch on with three weeks to go. In fact, back in August, Youngkin was nearly six points behind McAuliffe.
