Guess what! CNN host Alisyn Camerota says the weekend incursion against the border wall by the migrant mob proves that we DON’T need a border wall!

Camerota suggests that because we repelled this migrant attack and no one was able to sneak in, we don’t need no stinking border wall! She also claims that this was the easiest point to try and breech which is why the migrant mob chose this point as their destination.
The problem with this is that we saw the migrant mob coming weeks before they got here and Trump had the military putting up fencing with razor wire to prepare for their arrival. (That might have had a lot to do with where they decided to try and breach.) Most illegals who come across the border illegally don’t advertise they are coming and they don’t normally come in mobs of 5,000 or more people. To suggest that this single instance proves we don’t need a border is absurd.
The border is 2,000 miles long and there are a ton of places where someone could come across illegally. While we don’t need barriers or a wall up across the entire border, some type of tall barrier would definitely prevent many from coming over and it would make the job of border officials easier in controlling the problem. Also the more secure the border, the safer it is for the border patrol to do their jobs.
I’ve always said that I don’t care how we secure the border, as long as it’s secure. But I’d be lying if I said that a border wall, especially in the hotspots, isn’t necessary.
