CNN’s Brianna Keilar went after Bernie’s campaign manager, Ari Rabin-Havt, over Bernie’s praises of Castro’s literacy program:
Keilar really tried to pin Ari down on the fact that Castro’s literacy program was solely for the purpose of indoctrination.
But he really had no good answer. He just kept saying over and over that Bernie criticized the authoritarianism of the regime, but everyone watching should realize it’s a cop out.
It’s such a ridiculous position to defend. It’d be like praising Hitler for educating children in his Adolf Hitler Schools of Nazi indoctrination but criticizing Hitler for his authoritarian actions. It’s madness.
