While the potential mass casualty shooting is unfolding in Aurora, Illinois, a senior Washington correspondent at CNN is already asking if this is a national emergency:

People are potentially dead inside this building that we are all watching on the news, and this CNN reporter named Joe Johns is already using this to attack Trump for declaring a national emergency today. What a putz.
