Earlier this year it was reported that Trump would attend the White House Correspondents Dinner.
But Trump has just announced that he’s NOT going to the dinner and instead will be holding a rally:

This announcement has triggered CNN’s Brian Stelter, who tweeted that “Trump wants keep whipping up hatred of the people who cover him”.
Least surprising news of the day… Trump wants keep whipping up hatred of the people who cover him https://t.co/uWH8BiLbKt

No Brian Stelter (BS), Trump doesn’t need to whip up hatred for the Fake News media. You guys do a great job of that yourselves.
Seriously, nobody blames Trump for not going to these anti-Trump media hate parties except for the anti-Trump media. It’s pathetic.
Twitter responded hit back at Stelter in kind:
I'm so sorry this is happening to you. #HumanPotato https://t.co/UsVFwlrbwJ

GP Maybe if media played it straight and stuck to facts instead of preferred narratives, people would defend you. Media has made its bed. Time to lie in it. https://t.co/5BHlGDe9ZR

We stopped believing and liking the media long before Trump won... https://t.co/5FZXLuB6yB
