CNN’s Dana Bash calls Trump ‘remarkable,’ says he is being the leader America needs

CNN’s Dana Bash was uncharacteristic in her praise for Trump today while the rest of the channel’s guests and hosts were trying to trash him for his response to the coronavirus.

Here’s what she said:

“If you look at the big picture, this was remarkable by the president of the United States,” Bash said. “This is a nonpartisan, this is an important thing to note and to applaud, from an American standpoint, from a human standpoint. He is being the kind of leader that people need, at least in tone, today and yesterday, in tone, that people need and want and yearn for in times of crisis and uncertainty.”

Wow. Don’t see that on CNN often. She actually had to clarify on Twitter because so many liberals were criticizing her:

I think it’s really tough right now because Trump is gonna get the blame for the stock market no matter what. That kinda comes with the job. He didn’t cause the coronavirus, and it’s the kind of thing that is really hard to judge. But at least one person on CNN isn’t trashing him like the rest of the media is.
