CNN’s Jake Tapper defended Peter Doocy last night on Jimmy Kimmel’s show and for the most part it was a good defense:
Jimmy Kimmel: "Fox…says…you're on Team Biden…yet, here you are, defending Peter Doocy, who…is indeed a dumb son of a bitch."

I like that Tapper refused to give Biden the benefit of the doubt like Kimmel did when he suggested that Biden didn’t really call Doocy a stupid SOB. Tapper argued that Biden was in front of a microphone when he said it.
Tapper did make a comment, however, that he didn’t think Fox News would ever come to his defense if the same thing happened to him. But many were quick to point out that Fox News has come to CNN’s defense in the past and it was done on Jimmy Kimmel’s show:

Even with his dig at Fox News, it was good to see Tapper defend Doocy.
