CNN’s Jim Acosta LIES about Trump’s comments on asylum seekers and here’s the proof…

During Trump’s immigration speech today he addressed asylum seekers and how the illegitimate ones are hurting those with legitimate claims.

But of course Jim Acosta had another take on it:

But that’s absolutely not true.

As I pointed out above, Trump took care to distinguish between the legitimate and the illegitimate.

And here’s video to prove it:

Moreover most asylum seekers, to the tune of about 80%, are illegitimate. So they paint themselves with a broad brush in reality:

DC EXAMINER – Four-in-five asylum seekers at the southwest border do not meet the criteria to enter the United States, according to Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen.

“The way the system works right now the threshold under law is so low that about 80 percent pass that initial interview, but only 20 percent are granted asylum by a judge, which tells us that 80 percent of that is either just a flat-out fraud or somebody who thinks they can come here because they want a job here. That’s not asylum. Or ‘I want to reunify with my family.’ That’s not asylum. ‘I just want to come to the United States’ — not asylum. We have legal ways to do that, but it’s not through asylum,” Nielsen told Fox News host Laura Ingraham.

That was as of one year ago. It’s probably even higher now with this wave of migrants this year.

So this is an example of the anti-Trump bias that we see at CNN. Especially in their top DC reporter. Pathetic!

  1. Jim Acosta is one of the many reasons I don’t watch CNN. It should be LNN for the Lying News Network.

  2. …..and then in 2016 we had the beginning of a little insurrection by the FBI and the DOJ, [often referred to as a Coup] that is when we really needed our 30′ fencing, around the FBI and the DOJ Buildings to keep out the corrupted.

  3. Jim Acosta’s anthem. Glenn Frey’s “Dirty Laundry” (especially these first verses):

I make my living off the evening news
    Just give me something
    Something I can use
People love it when you lose
    They love dirty laundry

Well, I coulda been an actor
    But I wound up here
I just have to look good
I don’t have to be clear
Come and whisper in my ear
    Give us dirty laundry

      1. @jazzee Yep….I know I don’t care what he says as far as impacting my opinions. I do care that he goes on air with his bullcrap because it has an impact on public opinion and people are voting based off the lies they hear.

  4. CNN’s Jim Acosta lied!? I’m shocked! He looks so clean, objective, and like Mueller, above reproach! /s

    1. The shock is he still has a WH press pass. Time for new rules – – three strikes and you are out.

  5. And what an ego
    Wherever he’d go
    You know his head bovine
    Blocked out the sunshine.

  7. Well, time to poop out another illegitimate award (reward?) to Jim Acosta for his brilliant coverage… It’s fine that we call this out here. I just wish the whole country saw this.

    1. Read that article K-Bob posted. The awards are given inside their echo chamber. As far as I know from anyone I talk to in real life, people see straight through the BS save one person I know that only watches CNN.

  8. New WH press rules: three reporting errors, substantiated by hard evidence and you lose you WH press pass.

Make room for accurate reporters who want to get the facts out; not their personal agenda to discredit the WH.

  9. It’s a completely off-topic thing to which I’m about to link, but it brings up a fact that is quite relevant to CNN and the state of “the news.”

This sick kid, James Charles, had a youtube channel with, “an audience larger than all three major cable-news networks combined.”

While you should read the whole post, the bit about audience size was jarring.

More people paid attention to this mentally ill kid than pay attention to ALL of cable news.

“The news” is a joke. Acosta is a garbage human being, working for the least-watched major cable network (more people watch the History Channel than CNN). And CNN itself is anti-truth, anti-Constitution, anti-Semitic, and is pro-racism.

    1. Whether your interest is transgenderism or tuna fishing, this makes it easy to surround yourself with people who share your enthusiasm. The creation of niche communities online makes it possible for kooks and weirdos to imagine that their fringe beliefs are popular.

THAT. That is what every man woman and child needs to get through their head, asap.

    2. Makes me proud we pulled the cable plug years ago! Nothing to see here…..move along. And we did!
