In politics, the flip-flop is always a popular topic, and particularly among reporters. They were relentless attacking Romney for it years ago. Not so much with Democrats who flip and flop like John Kerry and Hillary Clinton, but with Republicans for sure.
So what about when they flip? CNN’s Jim Acosta put on a quite a show last week, a melodramatic display which started with a video clip of Trump rally attendees mocking and yelling at him after the event and culminated in his huffy storming out of the Briefing Room after Sarah Sanders gave him a talking-to when he demanded she dispute the President for whom she works.
But it wasn’t always so contentious. The emotional butterfly that is Acosta had warm and fuzzies about being among the people just a little while before he felt his life was under threat. It was the emotions campfire circle prior to the feelings aftershock.
And he posted the video online. And nobody saw fit to air it. Because … well, you know. Media.
Taking selfies with Trump supporters in Tampa. Really enjoyed talking to some of the folks at the rally and hearing their concerns. As I told many of them.. we can’t do the news just for the Republicans and Trump supporters. We have to do the news for all Americans. pic.twitter.com/onOOM6q9l8

Yep, that’s Jim mixing and mingling with the very threatening and evil crowd of Trump voters. How did he ever get out alive??
