Michael Cohen’s former legal advisor, Robert Costello, talked to reporters yesterday evening about what he told the grand jury.
Aside from pointing out that Cohen is a serial liar and a perjurer, Costello also discussed how he was the one who decided against this because he wanted the grand jury to have the truth.

Costello said the jury was getting upset with him because they would ask a very narrow question based on six cherry-picked emails, and he would volunteer important information based on many more emails that he wanted them to know.
One such item was that Cohen claimed Trump didn’t know anything about this settlement with Stormy Daniels, that Cohen took a loan out and did it himself.
When asked by reporters if he thought he persuaded the grand jury not to indict Trump, Costello said he doesn’t know because he can’t read their minds. But he did see some grand jurors nodding while he was talking, as if he was having an influence on them.
