Wow. That’s some real red meat being tossed out to the base here. This feeds some notion that the Congress is betraying the American people and only Trump is doing their bidding. But you have to completely ignore all the polling, and the results of all the congressional elections to believe that. It’s like the voter is absolutely bi-polar. They all hate Congress, but they LOVE their own member of Congress. The incumbency rate is absurd – somewhere in the 90% range!! What that means is we have a lot of bitter angry people that just don’t really pay attention when it comes to midterm and Congressional elections. It’s not a conspiracy theory, it’s just how a messy Republic works when the people are so divided.
