Congressman calls for REMOVAL of Rep. Rashida Tlaib over RECENT ‘Deeply Disturbing’ ANTI-SEMITISM

Rep. Guy Reschenthaler is calling for the removal of Rep. Rashida Tlaib from all her committee assignments over what he says are “deeply disturbing” incidents involving anti-Semitism.

“This week, Democrat Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib participated in a forum led by one of the nation’s most anti-Israel advocacy groups that featured other participants with reported connections to Hamas, terrorism financiers, and the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement,” reads Reschenthaler’s statement, first published at Breitbart.

He’s talking about Tlaib’s headliner appearance at the annual conference of American Muslims for Palestine, where she and fellow Israel-hating anti-Semite Ilhan Omar, were the main act. The group promotes BDS and opposes the very existence of the state of Israel, and as Reschenthaler said in his statement, has ties to Hamas and terror financing.

“Rep. Tlaib’s participation in this conference, coupled with her recently deleted retweet of a slogan calling for the elimination of Israel, are just the latest examples of a deeply disturbing pattern of anti-Semitism that has been on display since she was elected,” the statement reads.

It’s not just the conference, of course. She also retweeted and then unretweeted an grossly and overtly anti-Semitic tweet that used PLO slogan. Yes, a congresswoman in the United States favorably shared a PLO slogan.

Internet is forever, though, as the Daily Caller soon reminded Tlaib.

Here’s more from Ryan Saavedra at the Daily Wire.

Dr. Mark Goldfeder, director of the National Jewish Advocacy Center, called for the House to censure Tlaib last week in an op-ed at Fox News.

“In her latest expression of anti-Semitism, Tlaib retweeted a message Sunday that read: ‘From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,’” Goldfeder wrote. “That phrase is a well-known Hamas jihadist call to annihilate the state of Israel and murder its Jewish inhabitants. It is an open request by Hamas and other terrorist groups for violence against innocent people and against one of America’s closest allies, Israel.”

“Tlaib’s toxic anti-Semitism is dangerous,” Goldfeder asserted. “According to the FBI, the majority of religiously motivated hate crimes in the United States are committed against Jews. That number is on the rise, despite the fact that Jews make up less than 2% of America’s population.”

Members of Congress shouldn’t be attending conferences advocating the destruction of U.S. allies. That seems so obvious. And they certainly shouldn’t be participating in the promotion of a hate-group bent on the genocide of an entire people.

Judicial Watch says that “Congress should reprimand three of its members for participating with financiers of Islamic terrorism in a conference sponsored by an anti-Semitic group with deep ties to Hamas, the Palestinian extremist group that calls for eradicating the state of Israel.” A bit of an understatement but even so that’s right. This should be a bigger deal.

Instead the media is crying in their iCloud over a wifi password. What kind of messed up age are we in?
