Cory ‘Spartacus’ Booker today tried to corner Trump judicial nominee Neomi Rao on the issue of diversity.
He asked her point blank if she had any LGBT law clerks.

Booker didn’t even realize that she’d never been a judge before? Well that’s forgivable.
But what I love most about this clip is how Rao answers his question:
To be honest I don’t know the sexual orientation of my staff. I take people as they come irrespective of their race, ethnicity, sexual orientation. I treat people as individuals. Those are the values I grew up with and those are the values I would apply if confirmed.
“I treat people as individuals”. Boom!
By the way what exactly does Booker expect, that she’s gonna have a questionnaire asking people their sexual orientation when they apply? He was clearly trying to trap her or criticize her and she totally knocked that out of the park.
