Kyrsten Sinema, who mostly has and will continue to vote with the progressive Democrats on most things, but who has been a key block to some other items, recently defected and became an Independent. Her frequent companion in blocking radical Democrat insanity is Joe Manchin and everyone has been wondering if he’s going to stay with the party or go with Sinema.
So they asked him.
He didn’t say yes, but look at this answer:
Just asked Joe Manchin if he may become an independent like Sinema did. “I’ll look at all of these things. I've always looked at all those things but I have no intention of doing anything right now. Whether I do something later, I can't tell you what the future is going to bring”

Manchin: “I’m not a Washington Democrat. I don't know what else to tell you. … And if a Washington independent is — we'll see what happens there. We'll have to look. People are registering more for independent than any other party affiliation, they are sick and tired of it.”

Unless I mathing wrong, if he were to defect that’d mean 47 Democrats, 50 Republicans, and three independents who caucus with Democrats. Plus Kamala Harris to break ties.
How many will the far left push out before they’re done?
