Cumulus Media sends out memo to stop saying election was stolen, but Mark Levin says he didn’t get it…

It’s being reported this morning that Cumulus Media has sent a memo to their on-air personalities, which including Mark Levin and Dan Bongino, telling them to stop suggesting the election was stolen or has not ended:

According to Mediaite, the memo states:

“We need to help induce national calm NOW,” Philips said. “[Cumulus and its syndication branches] will not tolerate any suggestion that the election has not ended. The election has been resolved and there are no alternate acceptable ‘paths’…If you transgress this policy, you can expect to separate from the company immediately.”

I spoke with Mark Levin this morning, who is highlighted in both articles from the Washington Post and Mediaite, and he said plainly that neither he, nor his staff, have received any memo from Cumulus on this issue.

Levin also said he was never contacted by the reporter of the Washington Post story about the memo either.

If you listen to Levin, you’ll know that he hasn’t been pushing ‘conspiracy theories’, as Mediate claimed in their piece. His commentary has centered on the constitutional issues regarding the election.
