CUOMO: I’m gonna shut down synagogues if Orthodox Jews doesn’t obey me [VIDEO]

Governor Cuomo actually said today that he’s going to tell his Orthodox Jewish community that if they don’t obey his rules, then he’s going to start shutting down their synagogues:

Cuomo says, “I have to say to the Orthodox community tomorrow, If you’re not willing to live with these rules, then I’m going to close the synagogues.”

He the goes on to talk about how close he is with the Orthodox community and how he doesn’t want to have this conversation, because “it’s right on the line of government intrusion on religion.”

Right on the line? Maybe Cuomo forgot where the line is, because this is the line: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof…”

Religion isn’t a state or federal right. It’s an inherent right of the individual that is protected by the Constitution. Meaning Gov. Cuomo, you have NO right to shut down synagogues. Period.
