D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser has been crying all year about illegal immigrants and migrants seeking asylum being her city. Like the loudmouth Democrats in New York City and Martha’s Vineyard, the D.C. elites want to say they are all open borders-y, but they don’t want to actually have to BE that.
When 50 non-citizens, some illegals and some currently awaiting review of asylum claims, showed up in Martha’s Vineyard’s posh streets they quickly got the military to detain the poor folks.
And Bowswer? Well besides her begging for federal money and begin for the national guard to round-up the people from South of D.C. she finds so undesirable, she’s just coming right out and saying NOT IN MY BACKYARD and NOT OUR PROBLEM right there on camera.
“We’re not a border town.”
“We’re not Texas.”
Like Chuck Todd she is blaming the lack of resources or infrastructure, which is odd since when Republicans or border towns say THAT EXACT SAME THING they are called racist.
