Daily Caller’s chief editor LOCKED OUT of Twitter account…

Twitter has really become rather fascist and petty these days, and selectively so, allowing Louis Farrakhan to insult Jews by saying “I’m not an anti-Semite. I’m anti-Termite.”, but banning the Daily Caller’s chief editor for tweeting “learn to code”:

The Daily Caller Editor in Chief Geoffrey Ingersoll was locked out of his Twitter account Tuesday night after tweeting “learn to code” at The Daily Show.

The Daily Show’s Twitter account made a video game-related joke about President Donald Trump’s State of the Union Address, ribbing that the president unlocked the “asymmetrical background” achievement by getting Vice President Mike Pence to stand but House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to remain seated.

“Learn to code,” Ingersoll replied in jest.

The Caller editor received notification from Twitter shortly thereafter indicating that he would have to delete the tweet or remain locked out of his account. Ingersoll’s tweet allegedly “violated the Twitter rules,” according to a review, but Twitter did not say which specific rule or rules had been violated.

Ingersoll hasn’t deleted the tweet just yet, as it still appears on his timeline:

He must be taking a stand against this ridiculous and fascist policy of Twitter to control people’s speech when there’s no intended harassment.

In case you aren’t familiar with the short history of ‘learn to code’, here’s what Kevin Williamson wrote at National Review:

It is something that certain right-wing knuckleheads tweet mockingly at media people who have lost their jobs in the recent wave of layoffs. Supposedly, this is the knuckleheads throwing the media elites’ own words back in their faces, “learn to code” having been what these callous coastal elites offered as advice to the unhappy residents of dead and dying Rust Belt towns.

How is Ingersoll tweeting this to The Daily Show even remotely this kind of harassment? It’s not.

But hey, harassing the entire Jewish people by calling them ‘termites’ is a-ok.
