So Pete Davidson apologized for what he said about Dan Crenshaw on Saturday Night Live last night – then the guy comes on the show.
And what follows is absolutely awesome:
Wow. That was remarkably classy and funny and profound. This was a homerun for SNL, for Crenshaw and for Davidson. I am thoroughly impressed. I know, I know, they’ll probably continue to lambast Republicans on the show, but for one moment, I’m very happy they took the high road.
.@nbcsnl skit with @DanCrenshawTX was pitch perfect, genuinely funny, and if you haven’t figured it out yet, Congressman-elect Crenshaw is going to be a big, big figure in US politics for years to come

I guess we know who's going to be the star at the 2019 Congressional dinner--@DanCrenshawTX

It was especially gracious of @DanCrenshawTX to finish his @SNL appearance by acknowledging the sacrifice of Pete Davidson’s dad (an FDNY firefighter killed on 9/11 at the WTC). Good on Cmndr. Crenshaw. #NeverForget
