Dan Crenshaw hilariously SLAPS DOWN whiny writer’s defense of AOC’s socialism

In a very funny tweet yesterday Rep. Dan Crenshaw slaps down a whiny writer’s defense of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and her socialist ideals;

Lol! That’s not the only criticism this entitled privileged brat faced. But I think the most devastating is a series of graphs about how much better we have it from free trade advocate Scott Lincicome:

What drives thes petulant children to be living in a veritable golden age and to demand more and more? I really think it is just pure greed and envy.

It is truly sad and pathetic how little wisdom there is in today’s younger generation. If they don’t grow up and wise up quick this country is not gonna face a bright future.

This isn’t exactly new. Look at the hippies, who were raised in the post-war economic boom, but were unsatisfied and ungrateful of American exceptionalism. It’s obviously worse now, with luxuries that were the province of sci-fi writers when I was a kid. What do we lack today, except George Jetson’s flying car?

I would really love to know these idiots definition of “prosperity” if they think they don’t have it and it exists somewhere else in the world. They’ve been raised to believe that if the want something they should be able to have it immediately without having to work for it and earn it.

PaladinPaladin Gen Xers are the first instant gratification generation. They and the millenials lack the patience to discover that patience is a virtue. I used to tell my teenaged son, “All I ever hear from you is, “I need, I want, and I gotta have”. We all have wants and needs, but your generation doesn’t want to wait for anything. You’ve gotta have it all, now. Well, I’m here to inform you that that’s an unrealistic approach to life.”

1.America is capitalist and greedy – yet half of the population is subsidized.

2.Half of the population is subsidized – yet they think they are victims.

3.They think they are victims – yet their representatives run the government.

4.Their representatives run the government – yet the poor keep getting poorer.

5.The poor keep getting poorer – yet they have things that people in other countries only dream about.

6.They have things that people in other countries only dream about – yet they want America to be more like those other countries.

PlotEvil Oh, man you are so spot on. I experienced that mindset daily when I worked at a private college. I had work study students in my department and I would hear them say that when they graduate they expected to be V.P.’s within three to five years. I didn’t hesitate to tell them that they were living in a delusional fantasy world. I would tell them that that’s not how it works in the real world. I would ask, “What makes you think that and older and more experienced person is going to be happy to give you their job?” There were situations when several of those students got a reality check when they applied to grad school and were rejected. They were rejected because the grad school would advise them to take a year or two off to make sure they still wanted to pursue that career path.… Read more »

The problem with these kids is, they see what 60 year olds have acquired and attained thru hard work and sacrifice over a career of 40 years and they want it too, But they want it now, without having to go thru what we went through to get where we are, and if they can’t have it now it ain’t fair. And if they can’t have it they think we should not have it either. Spoiled brats!

Most of us can give lots of stories about how we walked 5 miles to school, uphill, both ways. And how spoiled and entitled this new generation is. The truth is every new generation appears that way, to some extent, to the previous ones.

BUT the big difference today is they never grabbed the reins of political power and influence so quickly and so deeply. Look at how all the declared Dem candidates kowtow to everything AOC says. Not one of them has challenged her.

Where are the parents of these children!? You have to teach them work ethics from a young age. It can’t & shouldn’t all come from the school system. He also slammed the President pretty hard for continuing his attack on the late Sen. McCain. He tweets a lot. You might want to join Twitter to not only get most of what you see on this page first and in context, but to follow people like Rep. Crenshaw. I like him! I like him, too. He did a video of going down to the border and talking to the agents there. He brought up all the possible objections to the wall, and they explained why it wouldn’t matter — like “We can’t put a border across the whole border!” But we can put it up in most places, allowing our agents to concentrate their efforts more on the places without the border. He’s not only smart, he works hard. And I’d rather have people in Congress and in the White House who’ve actually SERVED! They understand war, and understand the sacrifice. People who haven’t served just seem like such dilettantes.

For many of these petulant little snowflakes, their potential for prosperity will never be better than now, because they don’t have a freaking clue what real life is like – especially if they are so stupid as to believe that “Democratic Socialism” is the answer. And as time goes on, their opportunities will likely become less and less as this mindset takes root.

Their spongey little minds soaked up the wrong stuff – unfortunately. The Left and evil (but I digress) have done their job well. Useful idiots.

So she’s an author, national correspondent for Time Magazine, has her own radio gig, and she’s saying people her age have never experienced American prosperity? Uhhh okay, maybe look in the mirror. And when there’s someone as dimwitted as AOC who can go from a barista to a poltical figure seemingly overnight, it kinda deflates her whole argument.
