Electoral College evangelist Dana Perino crushed Ocasio-Cortez for calling the institution “racist,” and she did it passionately, but with reason and logic.
She is absolutely right about the wisdom of the founders in instituting the electoral college, and how it should be defended as a perfect example of the federalist system that made America truly great. What’s more, it’s telling that those who would try to undermine it don’t argue for their case, but just shout “racist!”
Pretty typical, as we’ve all seen.
Dana says she’s willing to debate anyone on the genius of the electoral college and I have no doubt she would obliterate AOC if she were brave enough to take up the challenge. But she won’t. She’d rather sit back from the comfort of her twitter account and lob foolish insults to the dumb applause of her supporters.
