We are learning tonight that the Democrat mayor of DC actually requested heavy artillery, in the form of ‘crew-served machine guns’, to protect Joe Biden tomorrow during his inauguration:

Can you imagine, for one second, Mayor Bowser ever requesting this kind of fire power to protect Trump? Heck no. Trump is their political enemy and they would have decried the suggestion of filling the streets of DC with National Guardsmen and arming them with crew-served machine guns.
But the moment they need to protect themselves or one of their own, then they want the big guns.
Cuccinelli is right, they have no place on defending the inauguration. Also, why on earth would you need heavy equipment with over 25,000 National Guardsmen on the ground in DC, each armed with an automatic rifle?
